The Last Summer of Us by Maggie Harcourt



After a trip to my nearest Waterstones the other day, I made a few purchases and one of them was a book called ‘The Last Summer of Us’ by Maggie Harcourt. I’d never heard of it before and I picked it up of the shelf thinking it would be some sort of summer romance because who doesn’t love a good summer romance? The blurb suggested it was about some sort of road trip between three best friends so I presumed, quite wrongly, three girls spend the summer road tripping around America spilling secrets. It turns out I was quite wrong.
